George Taub

George Taub is a second-year law student at Loyola University Chicago School of Law expected to graduate in December 2026. George has spent his life, and his intellectual curiosity, pursuing more ways to care for his community.

George became a paramedic in 2009 while volunteering for his local fire department and ambulance service in central Wisconsin, later working as a Flight Paramedic providing care to severely ill patients being transported by helicopter. During this time, George was promoted to Lieutenant on the ambulance service and worked as the lead of the highly infectious disease team, notably during the Ebola virus scare. Eventually George was selected to serve as interim Fire Chief all while he completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry from the University of Wisconsin.

With the COVID-19 pandemic striking shortly after his graduation, George remained on as interim Fire Chief to maintain a continuity of leadership until the community began to recover. George then utilized his leadership experience and degree to supervise a cancer testing laboratory.

Through law school, George seeks to place himself in a better position to influence the societal good. Success has continued to follow him; at Loyola, George is on the Dean’s List and among the top of his class.

At ZLG, George performs directed research and writing and adds a fresh perspective to the complex legal problems we address every day.
